Jack Jennings & Vincent Wilczynski

Jack recently transitioned from Harvard University after more than twenty-two years of service. From 2008 to 2026, he served as Executive Dean for Administration and Finance at the Harvard Graduate School of Education (HGSE), where he ran the School's business operations in finance, human resources, executive education, information technology, student support services, and facilities. From 2004 to 2008, he was HGSE's Chief Financial Officer. At the University level, he co-chaired Harvard's Administrative Council with the University's Executive Vice President for a decade.

Before Harvard, Jack served twenty years in the United States Coast Guard, retiring as a Commander in 2003. His assignments included Chief of the Financial Management Branch for the Fifth Coast Guard District and as a faculty member in the Leadership and Management Department at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy.

In addition to these roles, Jack has served as an independent trustee of the Symmetry Panoramic family of mutual funds (2017–2020), a fiduciary role overseeing the funds on the investors' behalf, and was a board member of WorldTeach, a Harvard-affiliated nonprofit that has sent thousands of volunteer teachers to under-resourced schools across Asia, Latin America, Africa, Eastern Europe, and the Pacific since its founding in 1986.

Vince recently completed sixteen years of leadership at Yale University as Deputy Dean of the Yale School of Engineering & Applied Science. In 2013, he took on the additional role of James S. Tyler Director of the Yale Center for Engineering Innovation & Design (CEID), one of the founding institutions of the academic makerspace movement. At Yale, he oversaw the School's hands-on design and fabrication infrastructure, and directed all activities related to academics, outreach, and student engagement. He also led the Higher Education Makerspace Initiative which annually organized the International Symposium on Academic Makerspaces, guiding the global community of practice for university maker education.

Vince is the Treasurer and Board Member of the global nonprofit FIRST, the world’s largest student engagement program to develop technical and artificial intelligence skills for youth in grades K-12.  He previously served as the Director of the FIRST Robotics Competition and as the Acting Executive Director of FIRST Global, a nonprofit that runs an Olympics-style international robotics competition engaging students from more than 195 countries to inspire them to pursue STEM education, opportunities, and careers.

Before his work in engineering education, Vince served as a Captain in the United States Coast Guard, retiring after a career that took him through operational and leadership assignments across the service. He is a Fellow of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), reflecting his standing in the broader engineering community. Vince is an active voice internationally, recently delivering an invited presentation on AI-based robotics design, fabrication, integration, and coding at Central Asia University in Uzbekistan and currently assisting the rollout of national robotics competitions in several countries. Locally, he serves as the Co-Chair of the State of Connecticut’s General Assembly Artificial Intelligence Working Group.
